I agree, but 3dfx were fairly big contributors to their own demise, sadly.
Their hardware always seemed to be a little too slow and a little too late
to keep profits up.

But I still bought a v1,2,3 and 5... though rarely when they were hot off
the press, so I probably didn't help keep them afloat much.
