that refers to Athlon 64 X2, jeez I didn't know you could run Windoze 10
on something that old.
I supposed Microsoft used some SIMD instructions that the AMD didn't have.


At this point, Microsoft hasn't even acknowledged there
is a problem. It's been posted to their forum, which is a
start. But don't expect them to be honest about how
they screwed the pooch on this one. Eventually, they'll
do a V2 of the patch.

The one person who got bricked (user "Cameo") was driving
a Turion. We still don't know the full spectrum of
affected CPUs.
