twinMOS (with winbond CH-5 controller) pc3200 (DDR400), 2x256mb, a7n8x dlx
rev2.0+ uber BIOS 1005+SATA - 205fsb (DDR410) with memory timings on
3-3-2-2. very tight timings and ultra stable.

as john said - he uses different branded ram, and i`ve heard of similar
occurances in here, but working perfectly fine in D-DDR mode. i`ve tried
it
aswell - a giel 256mb and a seitek 512mb module (both pc2700) running in
D-DDR before my upgrade to this twinmos stuff. obviously not ideal setup,
but it does prove that matched pair's aint as crucial as the
sellers/manufactures claim. more money in their back pocket than yours.

As soon as I put the Kingston RAM in, the bootup screen showed Dual DDR.
But, the performance increase is really small.
It seems a lot of companies are selling "matched sets" for twice the
price,
alluding to twice the performance.
I understand the actual performance increase is more like 2%.

However; I'm certainly willing to hear from someone more knowledgeable.

It all runs quite well. A friend of mine wanted my 2400+ so I

2500+ Barton. I'm going to have to run it with a 140Mhz bus for a
month or two till I can pry loose enough money to get a matched
pair
of PC2700 ram. Anyone running a Barton at 133Mhz and using the
multiplier to clock it up? Wondering how well this will work or
will

have to live with it at a lower clock speed until I get the proper
ram?
