Default CPU temp difference between 2400 and 2700

All other things equal, what would you expect the CPU idle temp
difference (if any) to be between an AthlonXP 2400 (266FSB) and a 2700

case would result in a 19C lower CPU temp for the 2400?

They should both have simliar temps, assuming they are the same core
version, same vcore (1.65v), cooler, MB, etc. The 2700+ should probably
run about 1-3C hotter. This has been my experience using probably 20-30
different K7 CPU's. I'd check vcore and cooler installation with that big
of a difference. Core speed doesn't matter a lot.
