have you tried reinstalling directx 9?

:So what's up? My old driver (dated 11-18-2002) worked just fine... I had
:problems originally setting up Direct3D with Diablo 2 but I fixed it
:(just don't remember how). Everything else worked but Direct3D in Diablo
:back then, though. Now none of the games work that require 3D support.
