Of course you don't have an ATI card with a PAL TV tuner (as an

No I don't....If I want to watch TV I turn on the TV. The point
that I was trying to get accross is that it is almost imposible to
match the infinate number of harware differences.

So why didn't you say that? Why did you imply that a) Windows Update [and
pathes installed thereby] is infallible, and b) the guy has caused the
problem himself by using Kazaa or similar?

I will usually
do a _lot_ of research before I buy any hardware.
