Default Intel CPUs

I think that in addition to the table below, the 2000 and 4000 series
has some additional "defeaturing" of the instruction set relative to the
6000 family (I believe that some of the virtualization capabilities are
missing).

The 6600 has long been considered the most desirable of the "low cost"
processors (going above that gets you to a $500 or $1000 range CPU), but
the 6420 is a good second choice.

Is there a web site that explains in simple English the differences
between the Intel E4300, E4400, E6320, and E6420? Dell's "Help Me
Choose" is, of course, useless. Thanks!

Intel E2140 - 1.60GHz - 1MB CACHE - 800FSB
Intel E2160 - 1.80GHz - 1MB CACHE - 800FSB
Intel E4300 - 1.80GHz - 2MB CACHE - 800FSB
Intel E4400 - 2.00GHz - 2MB CACHE - 800FSB
Intel E6300 - 1.86GHz - 2MB CACHE - 1066FSB
Intel E6320 - 1.86GHz - 4MB CACHE - 1066FSB
Intel E6400 - 2.13GHz - 2MB CACHE - 1066FSB
Intel E6420 - 2.13GHz - 4MB CACHE - 1066FSB
Intel E6600 - 2.40GHz - 4MB CACHE - 1066FSB

Thanks Robert. For "normal" (non-gaming) use, are the differences in
CPU speed or bus speed or cache size significant?
