Between nForce2, NForce3 and the 6800 it does seem as if
Abit should patch things up for their own sake. I suspect Abit
has already climbed into the Ati bed with regard to future
video-card offerings. We shall see in a couple of weeks time.

Abit's OTES cooling systems were hella racket, so if they're sticking
with nVidia hardware, they better make sure they don't have an
integrated punk band installed to their graphics card cooling fans.


OTES was/is a useless marketing gimmick. The Zalman CNPS7000
series flower-cooler for the CPU overhangs the peripheral circuitry
around the CPU and makes OTES unnecessary. Also, is much
quieter and more efficient than the Intel stock coolers. I will not
buy an Abit card with OTES installed.
