Hi all,

I'm wondering about some behavior of the nVidia GForce4 MX 440.

While booting WinXP there is a long pause (about 10sec) where there is
no movement on the screen. I've analysed with Bootvis that it's caused by
the display-driver.

And when I open display-properties/advanced and then click the
nView-Tabsheet
there is another pause of about 10sec before the tab is shown.

Any ideas about this? Why is it?

(Maybe my mainboard is too old? Elitegroup K7S5A with SIS735 chipset.)
