I'm no specialist for these inf files. But even on desktop cards with
the regular Forceware drivers some Widescreen resolutions (like
1680x1050 and IIRC also 1900x1200) only show up in the driver if there
is a display connected that can use these resolutions. The driver is
polling the display via DDC if it supports these widescreen resolutions,
and only makes them available if the display supports them.

But there also is the probability that your notebook GPU simply can't do
more than 1600x1200 on its external output. And even if it does, don't
expect miracles. Almost all notebooks show a blurry picture over
1024x768 on the analog monitor port, some even at 800x600 and below...
