Hi have the same board and was experiencing similar problems, although not
quite as bad. I reduced my temp by changing my thermal paste..

System temp CPU temp
35 59
40 64

New thermal Paste (Artic Silver)

System temp CPU temp
35 52
40 57

My heatsink is just a standard one , so it is possible to reduce it even
more.
Please note that the readings for this board are quite high as gigabyte
apparently use a different technique to obtain CPU Temp.
