Distinctly a NON-event. However, no doubt it will sell to he/she who
must have the top-of-the-line regardless of real performance.

nV is just marking time and squeezing the $$-lemon for all it's worth
before ATi reveal their Dx10 offerings and the G90 emerges from design
later this year.

I shall be far more intrigued as to what nVidia will do about the
performance and price hole between the 8600GTS and the 8800GTS/320.

Ironically, even at this silly price point, the 8800 Ultra represents a much
better value than the P4 XEs and AthlonFX's that were selling for over $1000
not so long ago...
