ATI All in Wonder PCIX

My ATI vid card will only put out a signal if the chip in between my two pci
express lanes is flipped to the dual display side.

In single display position, the card displays nothing, but my friend's new
Dell pci express vid card *does* display.

Also, I have a 23in. Apple cinema display that works, but it won't display
any of the BIOS information. I have to pull out an old CRT for that.

Any help?
