I bought a 1 gig Corsair dual channel kit for my A8N-E. The memory timing
says 2-3-3-6. Can somebody tell me what those numbers mean? This is my
first system build.

These are the RAS/CAS timings. In general terms, the lower those numbers
are, the lower the latency of the RAM is, and is therefore "faster".

Your motherboard should automatically detect the timings and adjust your
BIOS for you. Your motherboard may not properly detect the voltage. Many
motherboards will default to 2.5 volts for DDR, whereas the Corsair need
2.7 - 2.75 volts.

FWIW, Corsair RAM is among the very best RAM made. You made a wise choice
in choosing it.
