Ive pretty much decided on the 5700 ultra as it runs at 475/900 and it
had ddr II ram. copare this with the 400/700 of the lx 5900 im
replacing or even 400/850 of the 5900 i have seen and im almost
convinced that the 5700 ultra will be faster. also bear in mind that
the 5900 lx has 2.8 ns ram. what speed is the 5700 ultras ram?

You haven't learned that MHz doesn't mean everything. hello? AMD -
Intel's own Centrino CPU? AMD's 2.0Ghz 64bit CPU is faster than P4
3.0Ghz chips.... Intel's Celeron 2.6Ghz isn't even close to touch a
1.4Ghz AMD, much less a 1.8Ghz P4.

One of the TOP video cards on the market (ATI 9800PRO) has a default
Mhz of 680 - maybe 700Mhz.

Read this review... theres a REASON people say buy the 5900XT over the
5700Ultra... unless the 5700 is really cheap (Like $150 or less).

5700 = 4x1 pipes / 128bit / 425/900Mhz
5900 = 8x1 pipes / 256bit / 300/700Mhz

The 5900xt has it where it counts.
