Google streetmap for the UK seems to have some sort of protection. I
can't easily find a URL which will allow me to embed in it my search
value in order to find a street.

For example, with regular Google I can use the following (%s is a
variable) to search the web:

http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=%s

What is the equivalent for Google streetmap?

I can't find any info on this on the Net.
