I need to know of a specific combination of a motherboard that WILL NOT
support 64-bit mode (AMD64/Intel EM64T ) but will work with a 64-bit CPU
(AMD64/Intel EM64T capable).

In other words a motherboard model that will take, say an Athlon x64 or
Intel Core 2 Duo, where the 64-bit capability will be wasted, but will
run
well in 32-bit mode.

That's not how it works. Just load a 32bit OS if you don't want to run in
64bit mode.

Thank you for your reply. What I actually meant is when "the disability"
to run 64-bi is not at the OS level only but also at the motherboard level.
That is a chipset that will not support the 64-bit capability of a 64-bit
CPU but will run well with it in 32-bit mode. And if so what actual
motherboard model and CPU could be and example of such setup. Thank you.

Everything having to do with the operational mode of the CPU is inside the
CPU. The chipset has nothing to do with it other than providing access to
peripheral devices. So you can't disable the cpu's ability to run in 64
bit mode via a chipset. All we're talking about here is the instruction
set the cpu uses. That's in the cpu, not in the MB, not in the chipset.
