Flashing BIOS made things worse... now it won't boot!

The BIOS Error message means that you have reached the point where the BIOS
is gone, and you need a new motherboard.

What version of Windows are you using? Also, your motherboard was designed
for use with SATA 1, not the more advanced SATA2.

A7N8X-E supported hard disk size

Depending on which BIOS version you have, that motherboard has a limit of
137 GB of harddrive size that it can recognize.

The BIOS supports the RAID ability of the motherboard. If you change the

PCI Express x1 vs. x16

The PCI-E x16 slot is for the video card in the system. The x1 slots are
for future non-video devices which will NOT require x16 speed.

RAID

You just need to assign the two harddrives into a RAID 0 array, instead of
the RAID 1 array you have now. Then reformat, and install your OS.
