Color laser or ink jet

The Samsung color laser printer is quite afford-able now.
If compare with the same price range ink jet printer.
Which one is better?
Think about this, the ink carts is quite expensive also.

HP Jet Pro L7580

Anyone using this Printer and have this two problem?
Whenever I do printing on this printer, my computer will become very slow.
also, say I selected to print from page 1 to page 300,
but the printer...
