GA 8S655 TX Ultra
 

On bootup of Windows XP Pro I have a 45sec delay before the desktop finishes
loading. During this Nortons Auto Protect is disabled and then enabled after
this 45sec delay. This only happens when I have a cable plugged into the
onboard LAN port. Can anyone help me with this problem?

My system is;
GA 8S655TX Ultra
2.8 P4C
512MB twin ram(2 x 256)
9600XT Video
Windows XP Pro
