Hi friends, some friends of mine told I have to add to my Asus P4C800

Yes. And it is recommended to take into consideration the Asus P4C800
DDR400 Memory Qualified Vendor List (in the Manual; updated on
www.asus.com).

I know that motherboard works with two Dual-Channel DDR400 Memory.
Does it mean 512 for every channel? If will it be so, I think I will
add 1024 for every channel.

512 MB in each of the two blue slots (= 1024 MB) is sufficient.
