Radeon 9600PRO/XT vs. Radeon 9800SE

What do you think, which card is better.
While searching on the net for some answers, it seems like Radeon 9800SE has
same or (in some cases) slightly better performance then 9600PRO/XT, without
any modifications/overclocking.

Any opinions?

go for the 9800se card

in terms of stock performance it is little faster than the 9600pro and the
speed is probably due to the 256 bit memory architecture.

its essentially a 9800 pro with 4 pipelines, but its capable of 8. the 8
pipleines have been disabled in the bios and have heard successful flashes
enabling the 8.

besides the 8 shader pipelines, it has 256 bit memory compared to the 4
pipelines and 128 bit memory in the 9600 pro.

for more info on the card and the pipleines look here

hope this helps
