Sure enough, as previously reported, Radeon cards older than the HD 2xxx
series have been dropped from the support list.

I had a few issues with the install of the 9.4 on a 4870X2 vista 64. It
would not recognize the card after installing. First install failed, final
install, monitor went black, I reset the PC, and on reboot the driver was
present, with device manager seeing the card.

Did you remove the old driver COMPLETELY first?

The same place as non-legacy drivers, just choose the appropriate card.

The last time I looked, it's not there. I could only see pointer to the
latest driver. Maybe they were revising their website. Thanks.
