Nforce 2 northbridge passive cooling?
I have a Zalman northbridge cooler (tall blue heatsink). I'd like to
replace the whiny HSF on my Soltek Nforce 2 MB with this passive solution. Am I asking for trouble it terms of overheating? Thanks! |
Take a look at some photos of the Asus A7N8X-Deluxe. If memory serves me
correctly, its northbridge is passively-cooled. Just don't go overclocking with it... -- "War is the continuation of politics by other means. well if you have a 80mm fan on your cpu
your nb will actually run cooler AN7 hs + fan = 40deg the Blue zaliman = 35 deg cpu heatsink = alpha 8045 with 2700 rpm 80mm fan because the zaliman cooler is so big it gets cooled very nicley from the air blowing out of the cpu heatsink "First of One" wrote in message .cable.rogers.com...
