Msi VTDR FX5600 or Ti4200...which one u suggest ?...
 

Hi ! I have a
AMD 2100+ XP
ECS k7s5a
640megs of RAM PC133
60 gig
Abit GF2 MX400 64megs

Im a big player of BF1942 (www.planetbattlefield.com) with the MOD DC
(www.desertcombat.com) on the net and i can only play on 800x600 with
medium details cause it lag if tue resolution is too high.

Im looking for a new video card and i dont know if it a good choice to go
with a Ti4200 (used 1 year) (dont know wich brand) or a FX5600 (used 1
month!)(MSI VTDR). I know the MSI have the editor's choice of Tomshardware
and i know the FX can run on DirectX 9. Any suggestion ?? In Canada the
Ti4200 is about 160-180$ can and the FX5600 is 200$ can (shipping
included). Both card are used...

Any comments or suggestions will be appreciate...sorry for my bad english.

I live near London Ont..and an MSI Ti4200VTD8X is $199 brand new..I am
looking at getting it because it is still faster than FX5600...

not alot faster but is still faster...I was just looking for this kind of
advice or ideas myself..but am leaning to the 4200

opps...even though i wrote 5600 was thinking 5200...however due to the buggy
nature of some of the cards I think I will still stay with the 4200

The 5600 is faster than the 4200.

The 5600 is faster than the 4200.


And DX9 capeable.

Don't forget, the MSI FX5600VTDR comes with so many application and game CD's
it's hard to know what to do with them all.

I just called the one PC shop...there answer to me was that you had to at
least go with a FX5600 Ultra to beat the MSI Ti4200VTD8X...that is what I
was told....right or wrong who knows
