modem not working
 
i have recently installed a usb card in in a pentium 266mhz.it seems to
be working fine but now my modem has stopped working.looking in device
mananger it says both usb and modem is working with no conflicts.The
modem is an internal motorola 56k and the usb is an NEC.I am using
Windows 98 Second Edition.
Can anyone help,

Remove the USB card and modem, and delete the drivers for both.
Then install the USB card, reboot and let it's drivers install, then
the same for the modem.
