I just checked your thread on Google (saves subbing) and glad to see
your GF3 is working. Mine hasn't played up for some time now and I
think you may have found the answer. I had a bit of trouble installing
my Ti500, it wouldn't even show anything on screen until I seated it
correctly. Next time I pull the card I'll pay particular attention to the
quality of the edge connector, it may need a clean.

Thanks for the tips guys!

My card came in the mail today bright and early. It was in my hands
at 9am, and it was installed and running by 9:30am! It was the
easiest hardware install I've ever done, hell my stupid logitech
optical mouse took larger to get working with win98... Anyways it
works wonderfully and the performance boost is spectacular. Its an
excellent card, I give Gainward mega props for a great package.
