Battlefield 3 beta: bugs, improvements and new gameplay suggestions (and even possibles fixes).

Bugs, Improvements and New Gameplay Suggestions for Battlefield 3:

Bugs:

1. Cannot pick up radio when weapon is on radio. Can only switch weapons.

2. Standing over a weapon or any other object sometimes a body (?) says:
"pick up" or "press R" or whatever.

It's not clear what is ment, it should say:

"Pick up AK-46" or "Pick up M16" or "Pick up radio".

That would be more clear.

3. Can see through ground when it goes up hill, could be used to see enemies
early.

4. Cannot change graphics settings when chatbox is shown. Instead put chat
box below menu to fix it.

Improvement suggestions:

1. Integrate all menu's into one menu, so that it's possible to do
everything from a single menu.

Currently it's not possible to change graphics settings when dead. It's also
not possible to change weapon layout while
playing... at least this should be possible and be applied when you die and
respawn, or perhaps a little time when you spawn
so you can still change it.

New gameplay suggestion:

1. Hardcore mode, where players have only 1 life, and 5 minutes or so to
kill each other + spectator mode to see how it ends ;)

(Could be infantry only, or perhaps vehicles too, try both see what's fun or
let gamers decide if it's fun or not ;) by simply adding it to game ;))

Lastly a question for the graphics crowd:

"Do you think it's impossible to fix the "see through ground" problems in
Battlefield 3" (Also described by others as "clipping problems")

I think it or probably has something to do with the way the ground is
clipped to the frustrum/camera/view position, or perhaps the viewing
position is below the ground leading to problems ?!?

So then it could be as simple as: "making sure that the viewing position
always stay above the ground".

So if Battlefield 3 players have "bones structure/skeletal structure" then
it's necessary to make a contact/drag point for the head/eyes so it stays
above the ground at all times ?!?

Should be possible me thinks...

What you guys think ?! ;)

Also the same could also be applied to vertical walls and such... the
head/eye position should always stay on the side of the normal/normals of
faces/triangles/rectangles/polygons and such...

Bye,
Skybuck.
