GA-8IPE775G Rev 1.1 and Intel 651 CPU ????? by
BigVoice
Does anyone know as to whether GA-8IPE775G Rev 1.1 can support Intel's
65 nm CPU 651 (3.4G). In Gagabyte's website it said it doesn't for
rev. 1.1 but OK for rev. 1.2 with F6 BIOS.
But ver.1.1 and 1.2 looks very alike and I wonder how true is the
information. Both ver 1.1 and 1.2 motherboard...

Problem with my GA-8IK1100 motherboard and Raid O by
Javno
Yesterday I decided to reinstall Windows XP a fresh. My PC has Raid O
configuration and thus I had to download a driver that I saved onto a
floppy. This should have been activated in the blue Windows setup
screen by pressing F6.
But it didn't. Instead it came up with the error "File...

7VTXE+ doesn't detect new RAM by

I had one 184-pin 512 MB DDR PC2100 RAM module installed and now I want
to add another 512MB stick. When I add a second module of the same RAM
(184-pin 512 MB DDR PC2100 RAM ), the system just doesn't see it. It
sees the original 512MBs, but it doesn't see the new RAM. I've tried
different...

Have a peep here, you'll have to have a root around though-:
http://www.bioscentral.com/intel/jn440bxbios.htm you didn't say what
bios it was, i.e. Award etc.... but you should see it in the left
hand window.

K8N Pro-SLI onboard audio noise by
Thany
Hi folks,
I have a K8N Pro-SLI with a stereo speakerset connected to the line-out of
the onboard audio. This output always gives a certain degree of background
noise, which is very clearly audible. When there's network traffic, the
noise becomes louder than my PC. I also connected the front-audio...

I have a GA-K8VM800M MB with a 64 bit 3000+ processor and when I

I have a Gigabyte GA-6WMM7 in a Packard Bell PC. It had 256MB of RAM in
2x128MB sticks. I upgraded as per advised by both Crucial, Kingston and a
Colleague to 512, with 2x256MB Kingston PC133 Sticks, but only 128MB per
stick is recognized. Am I missing something? The PC is running...

GA-K8N51GMF-9 experiences.. by
tom
Well,
i think it would be nice to share my experience here, with my brand
new mobo.
It has NO chipset-fan. Thats nice. But.. the bios doesnt support slow
fans, so the minimum speed is 1400 rpm, making my Zalman fan (37,50
Euro) pretty much loud, when playing 3d games and still audible in
normal...

Hi,
I've already done a google search to find (also inside this newsgroup)
a solution to my problem, but yet I haven't found precise answers.
I've just bought an external USB TV Card. When I turn off my PC simply
using shutdown the TV card remains feeded, and its blue led is always
on. I read that...

Two days ago, it turned off on its own. Since then, when I press the on

Extracting Sil3512 BIOS ? by
Peter Geddes
I'm currently using the F8 BIOS on my GigaByte GA-K8NSNXP-939 motherboard.
I'm using this because the Sil3512 bios embedded in it gives the best Norton
Ghost performance in DOS.
Is it possible to extract the Sil3512 BIOS in the F8 BIOS and put it into
the F13 BIOS instead?
Thanks
