Wireless mouse with longest battery life? by
BestMouse
My system is a year-and-a-half-old Dell Dimension 8400 running WinXP,
with a Dell wireless keyboard and mouse, and is left on 24 hours a
day. Unfortunately the mouse, which requires two AA batteries, uses up
batteries very fast, so I'd like to replace the mouse with a more
efficient one (but keep...

Wireless N by
Skeleton Man
Hi guys,
I'm looking at building a wired/wireless router from a spare P4 box I have,
and I'm thinking wireless N is the way to go. I was wondering though if the
nics are backwards compatible with A/B/G ?
Also, I'm thinking a seperate antenna would be best as the router will sit
out of sight and...

Hi
I'm looking to set up a wireless network and I'm a bit lost.
My PC has a 2MB connection to Virgin Media(Telewest) via a DSL Surfboard
SB3100 cable modem. I also have an imac G3 400mhz with an ethernet socket
that wants to share the internet access.
I was told the best thing would be to get...

Wireless Network and Speaker Interference by
Grinder
I've been trying to attach an older (Win 98se era) laptop to a wireless
network (802.11b). The CardBus card installs properly, but I'm getting
a lot of fart noises from the built-in speakers.
Is there any way to eliminate that, short of physically removing the
speakers?

Wireless Network Card On Win98 Not Working by

Hi,
I installed a wireless network (Linksys G) on my daughters
two computers. The computer with the wireless card, an

Wireless network cards by
species8350
Hi,
I own a Dell pc and want to make use of a wireless connection that
will soon be available in my house.
I think that I will need to install a wireless adapter card in the pc,
and wonder if this could effect the warranty of the PC (based in UK).
Any thoughts?

I have cables running in the house right now on a LinkSys router. I'm out

though, so have some questions about the stuff I was looking through today.

Wireless NIC Problem by

I just got an older computer running with an AMD K-6 500 MHz. The
network card that came with the computer was connected via PCI and had
a little wire that ran directly to the motherboard. I've never seen
this before. When I tried to swap it with my Wi-Fi PCI card the
computer wouldn't boot. ...

wireless print server by
micky
To connect a printer that's not wireless to a wireless network, one uses
a wireless print server.
But what about a scanner? Do those connect the same way, with a
wireless print server?
