1402 3dMark2005 score need a new Vidcardi think ? by
Avid Gamer
Maybe to play 3dmark2005, but all other games work fine, wait
2dmark2005 aint a game.
My 9600 Pro is not what you call ultra fast but it can play doom 3 at
1024by768 30fps and with all the detail up at high detail and if it
can do that its still a great card, no matter what 3dmark2005...

1600 Pro drivers for Win98? by
bob9
I have a dual boot 98/XP, and obviously use the XP 99% of the time. But
there are legacy programs that I must run on 98. But I cannot
find any driver to work. The installation CD says it's installed, but on
reboot, it replies, 'no such ati board', and 'no such ati drivers' etc. I've
tried the...

1600x1050 Screen Resolution by
LNski
I have been drooling over the Viewsonic 21" VX2025WM or VA2012WB wide screen LCD monitors that are now down to about $300.00...
These monitors have a native resolution of 1600x1050...the website cautions to be sure that your video card is capable of 1600x1050...
I have the latest drivers and the...

1600x1200 mode with ATI by
replicator
hi all
I have Turbo Pascal program which can set up to 1280x1024 resolution
with Sapphire Radeon 9600 VGHA card. However I cannot set 1600x1200
mode.
I have downloaded many BGI drivers, VESA programs which work on low
level VGA cards like S3TrioPCI but I just cannot set 1600x1200 mode

1600x1200...9800 XT or 9800 Pro? by
broncosfan
Hi,
I have a native 1600x1200 LCD that has 16ms response time (i.e. it
works great in games!).
I need to determine whether I want to buy a 256MB card or a 128MB card.
Since I will run some of my games at 1600x1200 does it matter which I
get? I realize that some games won't run acceptably at...

1680 x 1050 on a Radeon 9200 by
[email protected]
Hey guys and gals,
I don't have all the info since this isn't a problem on my PC, but
here's the problem.
We just bought a Acer AL2216W 22" monitor. It is a 1680 x 1050 60Hz
panel. This resolution didn't show up in the ATI control panel so we
used Powerstrip to create this resolution. This is what...

16:9 and Sony GDM-FW900 by
Tony
I have an ATI 9600 running under XP Pro. Using the 6.14.10 drivers. We just
dispositioned a lot of gear at work, and I got my hands on a mint Sony
widescreen FW900. I set it up okay at 1600x1200, but I'm wondering why I
can't set it up at 1600x1024 (which the Sony supports). Can the 9600...

19" Flat panel VGA or DVI cable by
DB
I bought a 19" Samsung panel and it works great but was wondering If I would
see any improvement by using a DVI cable instead of my VGA cable. Anyone
have any words of wisdom on this? Best buy wants $52 for a DVI cable so I
don't want to through my money away.
Thanks,

1900 xt and Oblivion by
spaceman
i noticed Oblivion on the 360 is quite a nice looking game, and runs fairly
smoothly most of the time as well.
I want Oblivion for my PC, but i'll have to upgrade. What kind of
performance can i expect at max settings for this game on a system with an
E6600 Core 2 Duo and an X1900XT(512)? I'd...

1900 xt clocks weirdness by
jeff
I just purchased a HIS 1900 XT. The clocks shown in
the tool tray and under the Catalyst control center/overdrive
are 500/594. They are refered to as "current" VPU and memory.
The " system info" tab under CC also shows 499/594. I know that
the clocks are suppose to be 625/725 so I figure the...

1900XTX and crossfire question by
SamP
I keep reading in magazine articles eg in PC PRO "Considering the £25 price
premium for the XTX's minuscule improvement, it doesn't make sense to choose
it over the XT, especially as you can only take advantage of CrossFire with
the XT version." that two 1900XTX cannot be installed as a crossfire...

1920x1200 DVI output in Linux with Radeon 9000 by
John
I have access to a Samsung 240T LCD monitor that is driven by a
Sapphire Radeon 9000 at 1920x1200 via a DVI connection. Windows XP
works fine at 1920x1200 resolution.
The problem is that I recently installed Fedora Linux in a partition
and cannot get it to run at anything higher than 1600x1200....

1920x1200 on a Dell 2405FPW by
Tom Scales
I am having more trouble getting my 9800 Pro to properly support this
monitor. It is connect via VGA (the DVI port is in use from another
computer).
9 times out of 10, when I boot, the card thinks the monitor can only support
1600x1200, so it scrolls left and right with black bars on the side....

1920x1200 on L2335 via Single Link DVI by

Sorry for crossposting, I couldn't find a general videocard group...
I need to drive a HP LP2335 via a Single Link DVI cable on 1920x1200,
preferrably on 60Hz (I need the 1920x1200 more than the 60Hz).
This only seems to be possible when using the "reduced blanking"
feature.
There is no need for...

All,
Just bought the Sapphire 9600 Pro. OK so its not the most powerful card but
I'm on a budget. Looking forward to a little better performance than the

Two questions - best way to install to avoid conflicts etc? Do I need to
