19" TFTs, Dead Pixels and Where to buy by
Stephen Naicken
Not sure if this is the best place to post, but there does seems to be
a lot on TFTs here.
I'm interested in buying a 19" TFT, perhaps a Samsung 191T, ideally
the Sharp LL-T19D1H. I spent a day looking around the shops in
Brighton where I live to see one in action, but I could only find 17"
ones....

19" CRt Monitor Wanted . by
Stuart
My 21" Dell that I got a couple of years ago recond has died it would
seem as a ghost image has appeared and is doing my eyes in.
Much as I would love another 21" I think cost wise I'm going to have
to settle for a 19" . Can anyone recommend a model that isn't too
expensive ..

19/20" TFT - what would you buy and where from? by
Paul Hutchings
I'm sick of trying to narrow the field down, so whilst this might open it
up, rather than saying "what do you think of model xxx" I'll simply ask -
if you were going to buy a 19" or 20" TFT, for general office/internet use,
DVD and video playback and the very occasional game at lowish...

20m 4pin - 4pin Firewire Cables? by
Paul Hutchings
Longest I've been able to find is 10m, anyone know if it's a technical
limitation or just that there's no demand so nobody does them?
Anyone know anywhere that does or the best way to achieve this?
regards,
Paul

32x CD-RW / cheap 99 min CD-Rs by
Andy Cunningham
Anyone know where to buy 32x CD-RW discs (fastest I've found so far is the
16-24x Verbatims). Also, I can't find anywhere to buy ~10 99 minute CDs at
sensible prices (seen 100 for £30 which is the cheapest per CD, but when
80min CDs only cost 12-15p / disc this still seems pricey.

I have acquired a compact desktop PC which has a slim CDROM drive. The

IDE connector, but it has 50 pins. It is also smaller in the other
direction. It is the only connector at the back and as far as I have

50mm processor fan needed by
Andrew Z Carpenter
Hi folks,
I'm looking for a reputable (and cheap) supplier for
some 50mm processor fans.
All my usual suppliers (dabs, aria, ebuyer, overclock)
don't seem to stock anything suitable.
A google search for "50mm fan" provides several hits
here in the UK, but none of which I've ever heard of,

6 week old monitor - recon unit? by

Bought a new Samsung Monitor from a computer fair.

inside.
I phoned samsung and they are arranging a replacement but are giving me a
reconditioned unit in its place.
I tried arguing this with Samsung but they say this is all...
