The print quality of my bc-02 was suffering, banding, weak print etc. I noticed that the bottom of the inkjet had a lot of dried ink on it. Has anyone any tips for keeping this area clean. I can clean it manually, but it should be self cleaning. thanks s

Is it possible to use the Canon ip4000 ink (BCI-6Y, C, M) in the Canon IP4200 printer? The numbers are different and the ip4200 cartridges are chipped, but if I could transfer the chip to the BCI-6 ink would it work?

Can the BCI-3e cartridges be used in a Canon printer that uses the BCI-6 cartridges? They look exactly the same. Is there a difference in the cartridges? Can ink previously purchased for the BCI-3e cartridges be used to refill the BCI-6 cartridges? Is there a difference in the inks?

I have a Canon Pixma ip4000 photo printer. The cartridges haave always included: BCI-6M (magenta) amd BCI-6C (Cyan) In looking to buy replacement cartridges I now see the above but also BCI-6 photo magenta and BCI-6 photo cyan.

Is this safe to use, or do I need to track down some BCI-3e?

Does anyone know of a USA source of the BCI-7 cartridges for use in the Canon IP5000?
