modem2modem video phone s/w by
Johannes
I am looking for a software which makes a video telephone directly
modem to modem, NOT using the internet.
In my experience all providers like AOL, Sprint... cut down either the
baud rate or the momentary data speed, so video phoning via internet
is mostly slower than Apollo 11 communication to...

Free P2P Video conferenceing software? by
Stein Arne Storslett
Hi, I'm on the look-out for some video conferencing software.
I've just started with this and I have my camera up and running, I've
used MS Netmeeting for two way video conferences. But Netmeeting does
_not_ support meetings with multiple people in video. Only two
attendants can have video, while...

Just A Jumble of Color by
Stevorino
A friend in the Phillipines just bought a Genius Video Cam Express.
He claims he installed the right driver. All the Cam seems to be able
to transmit is a jumble of colored lines. Anybody have any
suggestions on what the problem might be? He says that no manual came
with the cam. Thanks.

Looking for Veo Observer software by

Hi,
Just got a wireless Veo Observer cam. I'd now like to find some software to
interface it with an existing web site, say to grab an image from the cam
every minute and display it on a web page. You access the cam using the
cam's internal ActiveX control (as it is its own "web server") so I...

Logitech Image Studio Software by

I bought a Pro 4000 webcam for my son and was impressed by the image
quality and software suite that came with it. I fancy a webcam for
myself but don't want to spend as much again; if I buy the Quickcam
Zoom, will the software from the Pro 4000 work with it (it's the Image
Studio bundled stuff)?...

Is Windows Media Encoder the right tool for what I want to do? by

I'm running XP Pro and would like to set up a nanny cam in my computer
room. I've heard people suggest using Windows Media Encoder for other
simular uses, which sounds good to me as it's free, but from what I
can tell so far, it looks like you need a server to stream to. Am I
wrong? At the least...

Logitech - bad info by
Linea Recta
I've been surfing the Logitech site for information about their webcams. I
found the products alright, but I'm dissapointed about the shallowness of
information. Very little "message in the media". I suppose they aim at
random buyers.
