[Q] Intel NIC teaming for Windows XP by
Robertas
Does new version of Intel ProSET called "Wired" support teaming under
Windows XP?
Previous version of Intel ProSET did support this feature, but now there
is no option in menu to create a team.
I could not find any explaination in release notes that this feature is
no longer supported or it will be...

[OT] Dual DVI Card by
RL
I post here because there seems to be a higher quality user. I need advice
or recommendations on a good dual dvi video card. 2d/text quality and
symmetry is most important.

[LINUX] Info: Intel D845GEBV2 mainboard and Linux 2.4.21/2.4.22 by
Steen Suder, privat
I recently had to install Linux on a i845 based system (D845GEBV2
mainboard).
In short:
Using 2.4.21 and possibly some earlier 2.4 kernels will enrich your
system with "DMA timeout" and "hda: lost interrupt" errors.
Using 2.4.22 will fix this.

Zone 2 Too Hot. What is Zone 2? [cooling, over-heating] by
Wayne
When rendering Video on an Intel D865PERL with an ATI AIW9000, the Intel
monitor shows "System Zone 2" getting too hot. Since it peaks at 51º and
only lasts for about an hour during rendering, I'm not too worried about
over-heating, but the alarm becomes intrusive. So I have questions.
My system...

Yukon Gigabit NIC Problems by
[email protected]
Well with all the research I've done, I've come to the conclusion that
Intel's decision to use Marvell's Yukon NICs on their motherboards was
a terrible decision. People are having trouble with these NICs all
over the place.
Here's my problem. I've got a 25-computer lab setup at a school. ...

Yonah will have four TDP levels by
YKhan
New 65nm Pentium-M will have E, T, L, & U power ratings. The FSB will
be either 533Mhz or 666Mhz. The E series will be mostly a DTR chip,
with more than 50W consumption, so it will likely be competing against
AMD Mobile Athlon 64. The T series will likely be in the 25-49W range,
meaning it will...
