XP2400 by duncan
Is there a way to restore the default multiplyer on a XP2400. At the moment it gets detected as a 933mhz cpu by my motherboad (ga-7va) with unforunately no bios options to change the multiplyer. I need to find how to change it back to it's default of 15x.

First off, I realize this is not a hard drive newsgroup. However, I never visit any hard drive groups, and I know the folks here know what's going on so I'll ask here...plus I have an AMD system :) I just upgraded to a Chaintech motherboard with the Promise SATA controller. I WAS excited about...

XP 3000+ clocked down(?), crashing constantly by Whitesell (Verizon)
I bought an Athlon XP 3000+ (Barton) and an ASUS A7N8X Deluxe motherboard. For some odd reason, the board detects the processor as an Athlon XP 1300mhz (!!!). This may have happened after a system crash...I installed new nVidia drivers for my GeForceFX 5600 128MB ddr card and the installer hung...
