Arctic Cooling ATI Silencer 1 and Powercolor 9800PRO by
Runar
Got my Arctic Cooling ATI Silencer 1, and after installation it did not
perform the way I was expected. Snow in heavy graphics in Doom 3 at 395mhz
core on my powercolor 9800pro. After removing the cooler, I noticed very bad
connection between core and cooler. And the cause of this was the...

Arctic Cooling choices for 9700 Pro AIW ? by
Cuzman
I'm just wondering if any of the newer Arctic Cooling ATI Silencers work
with the 9700 Pro All-In-Wonder, or whether it's just the VGA Silencer
Rev 3 I can use.

TIA.

Arctic Cooling Silencer 5 rev 2 for X850XT by
pigdos
I've looked athe Arctic Cooling's website and it doesn't look like there is
any provision for cooling the RAM located on the backside (opposite the GPU)
of the PCB. Does the Arctic Cooling Silencer 5 rev. 2 only cool the
front-side BGA RAM?

Arctic Cooling VGA by
Les
Has nayone successfully fitted one of these to a Hercules 9700 Pro? Does the
cooler get in the way of the ramsinks? Also does the Herc card have a shim
round the VPU?
Thanks

Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer broken clip! by
Brian Pellham
I killed my 9700 Pro! I followed the instructions, probably my first
mistake. "Step 9: Both screws should be fastened alternately up to the
rubber washer. The steel clip will bend correspondingly." I tightened the
screws down, waiting for the clip to "bend". I was rewarded with a loud pop
when the...

Arctic silver thermal adhesive for 9800 pro heatsink? by
Wblane
I know a lot of people have gone aftermarket w/heatsinks for their 9800 Pros,
but I'd like to stick w/the stock solution. What I'd like to do is remove the
heatsink and shim then attach the heatsink directly to the GPU core using
Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive that's been diluted w/Arctic Silver...

Are all 9800-PRO's Dual-Head? by
Mac
Are all 9800-PRO based cards dual-head? I want this for video editing
programs. I assume I'll need an adapter to have 2 monitor outputs
because it looks to only have one.. If so, whats the model # for this
or what is this device called?
Thx

Are Omega drivers fully compatible with MMC? by
[email protected]
I am thinking of installing the latest Omega drivers to see if those
alternate drivers will resolve my Windows XP Pro. SP2's blue screen
crashes in gaming. before I do that, is MMC v9.03 fully compatible with
Omega's drivers? I have an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro AIW (128 MB) card.
Thank you in advance....

Are RAMsinks worth a damn? by
dorkus.erectus
I have a Sapphire 9800Pro/128MB.
I'll be installing an Arctic-Cooler VGA Silencer this weekend mainly so I
can OC the **** out of the core.
Do RAMsinks really help at all as far as OC'ing the memory?
I already have pretty good air cooling in the case and am wondering if they
would be worth...
