11 x 17 monochrome laser printer $1000? by Andrew Hamilton
I promised to help out an architect friend who works by herself. She prints out 11 x 17 floor plans and the like on an inkjet printer, but she would like something faster, meaning a laser printer. She doesn't need color and her budget is $1000. Does this printer exist? I found a Canon color...

11 X 17 Printer/Copier by Adam
Are there any all in one machines that do 11 X 17 inch paper? I want to be able to copy and scan 11 X 17 paper. I have found machines that copy scan and print 8 X 11 for around $300. However, the cheapest ones that I can find that will handle 11 X 17 inch paper are over $3000. I would like to...

1100d Size Error: Common Problem? by Fenrir Enterprises
I've noticed an problem with my 1100d (I had this same problem with my old Canon BJC-4300. The Epson R340 doesn't do it). If you design something with a lot of white space, the printer will screw up the dimensions of the image. I just designed a newsletter in Illustrator 9, with a 1" header and...

1120c printer problem again by mark
well, last time I posted, I thought the problem was solved. simply free up resources to 90% or more, make sure the Internet temp files are cleaned out and things should print. unfortunately, my 1120C is still bombing out. It'll print 5 or 6 pages and then just stop. "Aborted by User" or...

11x17 Color Laser Printers by ProPrime
Does anyone know, or heard rumors, when Xerox is going to replace their Phaser 7300 or 7700? And if so when? They have a $1000 rebate on the 7700. It has been out for quite some time now. I read a review written on 07/25/02 for it and one for the 7300 written on 07/25/02. This means that they have...

11x17 color printer by Tim Hoke
Does anyone have experience with an inkjet printer that can print 11x17 as well as 8.5x11? The HP1220 will do this but it only has one meager paper tray. Thanks Tim

11x17 laser printers (same question)! by DoubleEntendre
A while back I asked, something ( involved in a flood, I lost a bunch of replies/computer) of the following. Looking to buy on EBay or locally (if possible) a laser that will do: 11x17 (tabloid) pages at least 600dpi if not 1200dpi a semi-workhorse...maybe up to 4000+ pages a week

Hello all, Can anyone recommend a laser that can do 11x17 (tabloid) that is: Used & available for sale on EBay or ? Can be refilled reasonable, by that I mean, within reason refilled a few times not stretching the cartridge (I have refilled my HP 1200 up to 3 times, with TonerRefillKits with...

11x17 on Epson 2200 (from Canon 10D) by mwalch
I printed several photos at 11x17 on the Epson 2200 from the highest non-Raw setting of the Canon 10D. I also tried RAW photo printing. The RAW came out impeccable (using huge TIFF and EMF files). The JPG had minor compression artifacts throughout. Question: for 11x17 printing, is RAW the only...

1200x600 laser resolution by Dave Reed
Hello Everyone, I'm wondering if anyone has experience with laser printers that print at 1200x600. I'm used to 600x600 and 1200x1200, but 1200x600 seems unbalanced and unintuitive. Does it result in strange output, like some lines being thicker or thinner than if the two values were equal? ...

1200x600dpi by genericaudioperson
Hello, I am curious. Some color laser printers have 1200x600dpi. That seems strange. Why isn't it 1200x1200. Wouldn't it make the pictures print strangely if the dpi's are not the same (600x600 or 1200x1200). I notice this 1200x600 spec a lot. I'm puzzled why they don't make them 1200x1200.

1215 Problem...photo paper not advancing last 2 inches. by Cullinane
My HP 1215 photosmart, when set for photo quality paper, will almost print out the whole page. Except for the last 2 inches or so, and the carriage continues to move back and forth across the page still printing. Of course that results in a thick gobbledegook line. I put regular paper in the...

1270 still viable? by John Smith
I've had a 1270 forever and it's still giving me excellent service. But I'm wondering as to it's status in the larger scheme of things? Are many of them still being used?
