Solid Ink and Laminators? by Timothy Lee
This seems to be the best newsgroup for my question: I've got a Xerox solid ink printer and if I try and laminate any output the heat from the laminator makes the ink run a bit, anyone got a solution? Thanks. --

Canon I550 by Patscga
I rarely use the color inkjets. Today I printed out 200 pages in black and white. When it was finished, all three color ink cartridges showed they were almost empty. I don't get it. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Pat

Still have ink in cartridge...but no printing by Steely
I'm using a Canon MPC 190, and since I get this warning "Black ink level low", the draft and normal printing mode is not working at all (only black ink). At the begining I believed it was because of the lack of ink.... but I turned the priting mode to "Photo pro", and then I've been able to print...

Heavy Panic With Lexmark 121980 Color Cartridge for z53 by Rick London
Don't ask me why I bought a Lexmark. I had a weak moment. Have had nothing but trouble. Today I received a remanufactured color cartridge from a company I've relied on for years and the color cartridge prints nothing. But when I run a "clean nozzle" it shows it is full of color ink. Could there...

Problem: Canon LBP-460 / 660 drags several sheets at the same time by Jouko L.
Hi! I've faced the following problem both with my Canon LBP-460 and LBP-660 laser printers: 460: When printing, the printer drags all the sheets in the tray at the same time. If there's too many sheets, they (naturally) can't make their way through the printer but they jam. 660: Sometimes the...

My i320 doesn't print anymore by Eric
Hello, I'm having a strange problem since this afternoon. My Canon i320 doesn't print anymore. Its last print was done at 15.30 approx. and from this moment it doesn't print anymore. The system (Win XP) doesn't signal any error in the printing process, the paper is pulled normally page by page,...

HP 1220C cleaning kit? by David Aldrich
I've had an HP deskjet 1220C for about 2.5 years. It has been great but now I have paper feed problems and it wont reliably pull through any paper thicker than 80gsm. Reading the posts on this group and elsewhere I see this is a common problem with HP deskjets and the 1220C in particular. ...

Canon i950 and 6.25" x 9" paper (greeting cards) by esrade
Okay, this might be a very stupid question but I'm having trouble getting my Canon i950 to print cards on 6.25" x 9" card stock (Red River paper). Is this a software thing or a printer thing? I tried setting custom sizes but it keeps printing incorrectly and it's getting frussssstrating. Has...

Atlantic for Refill; How about Cartridges? by JLynn
*** post for FREE via your newsreader at post.newsfeed.com *** Seems to me that many people here like Atlanticinkjet.com for refills. From what I gather Alotofthings.com uses the same/similiar ink in their bulk packages. Do Atlanticinkjet and/or Alotofthings' generics use that same quality ink? ...

What is the best photo printer.? by Jerry Schwartz
The Canon to consider is the i965, rather than the i850. HP has a new one that is getting good reviews, the HP 7960. The most comprehensive (accuracy is for you to judge) reviews are at http://www.photo-i.co.uk/index.html. -- Jerry Schwartz FidoNet 1:142/928

I want to write a low level graphics driver (non Windows) for these printers. Anyone know where I can find documentation on the control codes etc. Canon Technical support were more than a little unhelpful. Jack Russell
