Hello,
I am looking for a good and not too pricey motherboard to run 2 or 4
AMD 64 X2 (or dual-core Opterons, if AMD 64 is not an option). The goal
is to have 4 or 8 actual processors in a desktop system. Any
suggestions?
Thanks,

Custom AMD 64 System - More Advice Please by

settled on the MSI K8T Neo2-F and an AMD Athlon 64 3000 Venice (probably
OEM). It is my understanding that I will experience a performance benefit
from running...

PCI bandwidth measurement by
Arthur Perry
Hello,
I have a question about methods of measuring PCI bandwidth.
I was wondering if anybody had any ideas.
What I am looking for is an "industry standard" method.
At this point, such software does not exist in SPEC.
Different HBA cards such as Myricom and Mellanox (Myrinet and Infiniband hosts)...

Onboard VGA and gigabyte ethernet - mutually exclusive on S754. by
Asfand Yar Qazi
Hi
I'm looking for a S754 motherboard that will take a 3100+ 64-bit A64. I need
it to have on-board gigabyte LAN as well as VGA, as I'm planning to mash it
into a modded Compaq Deskpro SFF case at some point in the future when I
upgrade to S939 dual-core.
But I can't find ANY MBs that have both...

MT/S - what does it mean? by
Asfand Yar Qazi
Hi,
I see some motherboard descriptions that have something along the lines of
'2000 MT/s' or '1600 MT/s'. What does MT/s mean? What would be the
difference in performance between 2000 and 1600 MT/s?
Thanks

Fooled by the Crafty 64-3000+ hype... by
b-d0nk!
Hi all, I recently put together an AMD64 nForce3 rig, very pimpy with a
6800GT and meaty components, as it sits, it's gaming nirvana, 1600x1200 fps
goodness with any eye candy desired in any game played... I spin in my chair
maniacly laughing at the poor people and their less-worthy riggery!...
