Update! by Ian Smythe
Does anyone know a FREE site where someone can download build 1159. The only thing I want it for is to apply System Restore which didn't come with the free beta I paid for. The CD that is! Thank you.

Free Money!!! This Really Works!!! by Free Money Guy!
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY LEGAL!!!!! You are requesting a legitimate service and you are paying for it!! Like most of us I was a little skeptical and little worried about the legal aspects of it all. So I checked it out with the U.S. Post Office (1-800-238-5355) and they confirmed that it is indeed...

Linux AMD64 by Roger Treece
I'm looking for a 64 bit driver to use in linux (gentoo or SuSe) with my Ati Radeon 9800 pro XT. I know that Ati doesn't have anything yet, but I'm not having luck finding any 3rd party drivers either. This is the make up of the box: Asus sk8v motherboard , onboard gigabit ethernet AMD Athlon FX...

Update on AMD64 chip running at 12C ... (sigh) by Wayne @ W.
Well, after some research I have found that my mobo has a BIOS problem. This was reported on several sites that did a review of the Chaintech VNF3-250, and all of them report the CPU temp given by the BIOS as being way too low. One reviewer even said his showed 6c LOL. (42F for those that want to...

What a slick package Abit has put together with this board... I have been an Abit fan for a while but was going to buy the best Athlon 64 board available since the PC is being built for a customer. I heard abit provided a lot of extras with their kit. I opened the box and found 4 serial...

Argument passing rules? by Thomas A. Horsley
I have been reading the amd64 ABI document from the amd64.org web site, and it contains a supposedly english description of the rules for determining how to pass arguments to functions, but in fact rather than an algorithm or coherent description of some kind, it is actually a sequence of...

Athlon 64 by Gaul
I had a similar problem (ended up ditching Win64 for another reason), but here's what may help. The MSI K8T comes with BIOS set to "Cool And Quiet = Disabled". If you enable the Cool and Quiet in BIOS, and then try to install, I believe it may work.

True Speed for Athlon CPU's? by bitsbucket
COprocessors went the way of the Dodo bird.........do you mean "processors"? If so, and if you are seeing the low numbers, and the bios supports the AMD processors, then you have the FSB set wrong.(too low) My 2500+ shows 2500+ at boot. As a matter of fact, I have it overclocked to 3200+ and it...

ATI have beta Cats out for AMD64 Windows. Still no Linux drivers though :/ Take your time ATI. You can launch beta drivers for an OS that isn't even out yet but can't be ****ed for one that has been around for a year. *******s. K
