2x8800 Driving 4 monitors by
Makhno
Hello there,
We're thinking of using a machine equipped with 2 8800GTX graphics cards
to drive 4 monitors; 2 per card.
I wondered if anybody has experience of doing this? Not just Windows
desktop but 3D graphics (OpenGL) too.
Thanks

Bob Moore[_2_]
I'm considering an SLI setup (Alienware machine), but I badly need
multimon capability as I'm a software developer and Visual Studio

setup), but would settle for...

No Display by
Travis[_3_]
I just rebuilt a computer, and the motherboard does not appear to be posting
as there is no beep, and there is also no display. I noticed all the fans
are spinning, including the CPU fan and the video card fan.
Specs:
1. Asus M2N-SLI motherboard
2. WD 320GB SATA300 HD with 16MB Cache
3. AMD...

Patrick Vervoorn
Hi there,
Yesterday-evening I installed an XFX 8800GT, 512MB, 'Alpha Dog Edition'
into my brother's PC. All is working well, and he is enjoying the new
speeds immensely (he had a 7600GT/256MB before this).
However, there is one little nag: the fan on this card is making quite a
lot of noise,...

Watercooled 9800GX2 by

See the 2nd pic. This has got to be a world's first. I just hope the
compression fittings on the card are reversible for quad-SLI setups.

8600GT and Command & Conquer Generals by
Lorenzo Sandini
Hello there,
Is there anyone playing Generals on such a gfx card ? Ok the answer
might be obvious to some, but here's the story.
I "upgraded" a computer running XP pro, based on a MSI i865/478
mainboard, northwood 2.6, Rad X800XT by swapping those 3 components, and
leaving all the rest intact....

What the heck is the diff between PCI and PEG ? by
johns
PEG is called PCI Express Graphics, and I have 2
selections in my mobo BIOS ... PCI or PEG ???
The mobo is for Core 2 Duo, and the video card is
a BFG 8800 GT/GTO. Default setting seems to be
PCI, and I left it that way. System runs fine. I
benched Aquamark3D at 151,233 .. plenty fast.
