Upgrade or no? by
Mr. Brian Allen
I have a TI4200, but it's only 4X AGP. Would it make much of a difference
to upgrade to an 8X AGP TI4200? I just can't see the upgrade in getting a
5600 Ultra. Advice anyone?

256Mb much better than 128Mb? by
Bobby
I can purchase an FX5600 with 256Mb for £10 more than the same card with
128Mb. Is this a good idea? Will I notice any difference? What does the
on-board memory do?
Cheers.

Hats off to BFG by
RXP
I have a BFG Ti-4200-8x purchased at Best Buy.
After 9 months it started leaving artifacts on the screen,
locking the PC, etc.
BFG replaced it with a new one for free and I got it
within a week of contacting them. Uncommon service.

Freezing Geforce4 MX 440 with AGP8X by
Ran Chermesh
Hi,
My winxp pc stops irregulaly and I suspect it's caused by my NVIDIA
GeForce4 440 with AGP8X card.
Once in a while, the pc stops doing anything, then the screen blackens
for a second, and here it's alive again.
Is my diagnosis sound? What can I do to solve this problem?

Hi,
I am using an orginal GF3 PNY Verto 64MB. With the latest drivers I am
running UT2003 & MaxPayne2 & Halo at 1600x1200 and they seem real playable
to me. I was thinking of upgrading to a new graphics card (cuz I got the
itch), but I wanted to know if anybody else upgraded from a GF3 to...

Leadtek WinFast TV card display TV on multiple monitors? by
Paul Rubin
Hi all,
I'm wondering if the WinFast TV 2000 XP (Deluxe) card will display the
TV on all of the monitors in a multi-monitor setup.
I'm using an Asus v9180TD (GeForce4 MX 440-8X) to TWO monitors along
with a Gainward GeForce4 Pro/450TV PCI card to the third monitor,
using WinXP Pro. I've heard...

Brightness & colour by
perrin
Hi all. Have the recent NVidia drivers screwed up the colour correction? Now
it appears I have to manually adjust for each DVD movie (in Overlay, the
film being too dark). I remembered previously I could just adjust the
settings once and they would apply everytime I run a movie.
Specs:

Question about Ti4200 benchmarks. by
archagon
Hello! I'm a bit worried about my Gf4 Ti4200 64MB benchmarks. I'm
getting 10700, but the average is supposedly anywhere from 12000-13000
from what I've seen. I'm using 3dMark 2001SE and the following config:
P4 2.8Ghz, 512MB RAM, Albatron motherboard. My motherboard, CPU, and
video drivers are up...

5900 barbecue by
Albert
Hey! I put a 5900 into my box now the CPU is running hot (60-63c) with
stock cooling (AMD2400+). Is this okay or do I have an emergency on my
hands? Is this because the ambient temperature in the box has
increased or does the card make the cpu work harder? I have plenty of
case fans.
Have a great...

Graham
Hi
Anyone else have problems with this TV card after installing
DirectX 9.0b??
Mine refuses to work - just get the splash screen for a second

Playing a Video across 2 Monitors by
Seahorse
I have had no luck spanning a video (DVD, ASVI etc) across both monitors. One side
remains black while the side it started on works, reducing the window size makes
it play on whichever side has the greater area, cutting the film in half
vertically.
Anyone know WHAT this is caused by and HOW to get...
