I just found out this ****ing cheater called Lilith also uses a headset
during COH ?!?
No wonder those guys always so strong...
I don't use a headset... I find it privacy violating.
I demand headset support removed from COH or an option to disallow it during
games !

Anyone known what an acceptable GPU temp for the 9400GT is? My niece has
a PNY GeForce 9400GT 1024mb card that seems to be running at fairly
high temp (71 C ) without doing any graphic intensive work.

I own a Zalman 22' screen and and graphics card 9800 GTX. I use this
hardware for 3D stereoscopiv viewing frequently.
I noticed that nVidia has removed the specific mentioning of Zalman on their
Website, the way they used to do. In fact, I ignore if their latest drivers
still support 3D...

The Dirt 2 Demo is out !
And it is pretty damn awesome ! =D
I just played almost 4 hours it's that good.
The sound is pretty damn cool... the graphics are pretty damn cool... the
special effects, like water, and obstacle sounds is pretty damn cool.

Nvidia PhysX?? by

I want to use a seperate compatible card for running PhysX. My main card is
a Zotac GTX295 and would like to fit an additional card just for PhysX.
Now my mobo is Crossfite but i understand this can still be done as an SLI
bridge isn't used.
What would be a good card to use??

1. CPU temperature under 30 check ;)
2. Motherboard temperature under 30 check ;)
3. CPU temperature warning at 45 degrees check ;)
4. Motherboard temperature warning at 38 degrees check ;)
5. Dust filters cleaned, check ;)
6. Good airflow in case, tiny cpu...

I would like to know how/what the assembly looks like which will be
generated by a cg compiler or gl sl compiler.
This is to give me an idea of the efficiency of written shaders and what
it's doing.
I wonder if there is programmatically a way to retrieve the assembly via

I am wondering if it's possible to have "vertex shader assembly" and "pixel
shader assembly" in one file or arb program... because right now it seems
CGFX files need to be compiled twice with cgc... one time to extract the
vertex assembly... and one time to extract the fragment assembly...

When I connect my LCD-TV using the DVI
cobnnector and a HDMI adapter the image
is great, but for some reason I only get
8-bits color on the TV :-(

essential it has a composite video output. On browsing the recent Geforce
and Radeon ranges, I can't find any which have such an output.

My code tries to upload the texture to the gpu:
glTexImage2D( GL_TEXTURE_RECTANGLE_ARB, 0, GL_RGBA32F_ARB, Width, Height, 0,
GL_RGBA, GL_FLOAT, mTexture );
But it fails with "invalid operation" code 1282 I believe it was.
