Anyone out there using a Core 2 Extreme processor with this board?? The Processor i can get at a reasonable price is the QX9650 whereas i currently use a Core 2 Quad Q9300. On average how much difference is there in overall performance?? I have Googled this but cannot find any comparison charts...

The MB is an EP45-UD3R. The subject line says everything else. The manual tells me, "Do not insert the power supply cables into pins under the protective covers when using a power supply providing a 2x2 12V connector." But the board came with no covers on any of the pins.
