Jim Morrison
I have following problem:
When I turn my computer off, and then turn it on I get no picture on screen,
only "signal not detected", the only way to get picture back is to take my
graphic card out of MB and then put it back in and turn pc on. Of course
when I later turn it off I need to repeat all...

*PC Won't Keep Time Dispite New Battery by
Steve Horrillo
The laptop I'm working on wasn't keeping time. I checked the cmos battery
and it was almost dead. I bought a new one and it tested perfect. Why could
it be that the time still isn't being kept when I reboot. It still reverts
to 2002!

Warmest regards,
Steve Horrillo

of errors in an ECC board (it's ECC memory) when running Memtest86, but in a
non ECC board Memtest wasn't finding any errors!!!??? Unfortunately I booted
to Windows and SPLAT! Didn't even make it to the...

*sigh* ATX PSU problems... by
Noozer
Obviously I'm missing some vital piece of information regarding ATX PSU's...
Today I shut down two PC's. Turned off the PSU switch at the back. Removed
an internal USB card reader from PC1 and installed it into PC2.
At this point I flipped the switch on the PSU of PC1, then hit the power
button...

+200 gb harddrives? by
Henrik Johnson
I'm thinking of buying a new harddrive for my PC, this time a really large
one... I have a MSI KT4V motherboard, and I don't think there will be any
problems for the motherboard to recognize it... I just want to know if
anyone else has had experience with "older" motherboards and new
harddrives......

- Store ran out of ECS mb's, gave me ASRock instead... good or bad? by
The Cerebral Ass ©
I purchased an integrated ECS AMD L7VMM2 motherboard from a computer store.
When I went to pick it up 2 days later, I noticed the motherboard they gave
me was not the one I ordered. They gave me an ASRock K7VM4. It wouldn't be
such a big deal if not for the fact that they were going to pawn this...
