Hello I'm running Windows 2003 Server on an older test host that has a USB 1 controller. Although W2003 does detect the USB2 thumb drive and lists it under mass storage, tells me that I would get better performance if I used a USB2 controller, but doesn't assign it a drive letter. Anybody knows...

I like to keep my old bank cards intact and use them for jobs around the house. My worry is that the data on the magnetic strip can still be read. What is the best way to destroy that data without messing up the card for D-I-Y work. ---- Does a domestic microwave detroy data on a magnetic strip?
