Do the print heads current Canon printers clog up? by
Synapse Syndrome
Having had some frustrations with Epson inkjets in the past, I was wondering
if the current Canon printers ever do this? I have been using lasers for a
while, but I need to get good colour prints now, and so I decided to get an
inkjet for general use.
If I use the colour printing rarely, I...

Kodak Printers?? by
Angelo Campanella
Anyone have any experience with recent Kodak Printers?
I have a middle-aged HP6122 DeskJet, and I'm tired of high cartridge
costs (about 3 BW & C per year). Also I see that Kodak has a "permanent"
print head. As I recall, those print heads can be mighty expensive, and
no printer I have ever had...

Canon CLI-8 ink cartridges from eBay - do they work? by
Victek
Replacement ink cartridges for the Pixma MP 530 are very affordable on eBay.
What makes them affordable is the need to remove the chip from the original
cartridge and attach it to the new generic cartridge. There are
instructions for doing this which include pushing the printer's reset button...

I am tired buying Ink Cartridges by
Talal Itani
Dear Friends,
I have a Canon i850 inkjet printer. I use it to print color brochures. I
buy Canon ink cartridges. The quality of the print is excellent on good
quality paper. The only drawback is the price of ink cartridges. Costco
sells an ink kit, for filling cartridges. In the past I...

new Tom's Hardware printer test: Canon vs HP by
Panos Stokas
I've read this new THG review yesterday and I must say that it is the
worst THG review I've ever seen. For a website that rose out through
overclocking articles, I find it quite hypocritical for them to ignore
inkjet refilling.
Secondly: did THG test the printers for paper handling reliability?...

XP printer driver woes by
Bill Jillians
Hello there, thank you for reading this.
I just upgraded to XP after putting it off for a year. I wish I had put
it off for longer. After grappling with the modem for the best part of
a day I finally got it working.
Now I have turned my attention to getting the printer working and that
is...

Replacement for Epson Stylus Stylus 820 by
Carl Lucas
My Epson Stylus Photo 820 has finally died. I had very good luck with
this machine. Now I have to get another printer. Is there anything out
that that someone would recommend that would be similar. I don't do a
lot of printing. Most, it seems, are photos. But I do some regular text
printing....

CANON: DESIGNED TO FAIL by a dishonest company by
GP
When I bought my Canon BJ-300, I believed it would be really reliable. It was
an expensive (550$ CAN) hefty piece of equipment and I thought it would last
forever. It's now quite old, but I barely printed more then ten - twelve
thousand pages with it, the equivalent of what some companies print in...

Hey Measekite let's do some math by
Knightcrawler
I buy a Canon IP4000 for $50 after rebates. I have the option to refill or
use OEM.
The carts cost $12 each, I go through 4 black pigment carts and 8 carts of
each color. So 4 x $12 = $48 and 4 x $12 x 8 = $384
$384 + $48 = $432 of Canon OEM.
The Refill kit cost me $35 with shipping so: $432 -...

Epson R300 or... else. by
latet
Hello,
I'd like to buy a printer for photos.
I've seen some prints from R300 and they looked great.
But before I buy R300...
what other printers should I consider ?
I mean - are there any ofering the same (or better) quality
and possible to get for the same (or less) money?
Thank you,

Flashing cart light HP deskjet 940c by
john bates
I have a Deskjet 940c which has been working well for
the past 9 months with me refilling the carts when needed.
Two weeks ago the black ran out whilst printing text, so I
refilled as per usual. Then (as with Andrew 1234 a few days
ago) the black cart indicator light started flashing and has
done...

Canon Pixma IP4000 cartridge query by
MB_
We recently got this printer and we like it. We are new to digital
cameras/printing, so we have some elementary questions:
Question: how will we know when one of the cartridges is empty? Will the
printer flash and indicate which cartridge? Will it indicate on the
computer?
Also, when replacing...

I960 color problem by
Jake
I have noticed my I 960 is not printing in color correctly. I did a head
cleaning, when I do this does it not run any paper through the printer? Mine
didn't. I first did a nozzle check and the 6M cartridge did not show
anything. I did some cleaning and then a deep cleaning a couple of times and
it...

Paper Quality by

Hi. I am just after some advice on A4 paper.
I don't know too much about the different grades and weights, but what
I am looking for at the moment is something that is really good
quality and will allow me to print on both sides of the paper without
the ink showing through to the other side and...
