UK laptop suggestions by
Richard Hayden
Hi,
I have £1100 to spend on a laptop. I'm just wondering if anyone could
provide any suggestions; I'm looking for as high-end as I can afford with
the aforementioned budget, but am not so concerned with aspects such as the
video card, as it will not be used for games. A good processor (2+ GHz)...

REQ: Help - My machine has stopped running. by

I have an AMD ATX system that has quit running.
I was restoring its 13G HD to what it was before pretty much. I
completely erased it. I had it 99% finished, and all was running just
fine. I even did a scandisk and defrag on it. I turned the system
off, and cut my grass. When I came back, I...

Dual Boot, How? by
Paul \(Erie\)
I want to create a Dual Boot system so I can chose either the current OS Win
2K server or the one that I want to install WIN XP Pro at startup.
I've got an 80Gb drive with about 62Gb free right now.
How do I create a dual boot and make it ask me at startup?
Will this cause any sort of problems?

I disagree. I suppose you'd rather purchase from OverCockers and take your
chances - they're cheaper, but have you ever tried sending something back?

so and they are getting tougher to find. Best Buy, CompUSA and
