Coolbits question by
Fuzzy
Under AGP settings everything under MaxAgp rate is 8x except for OS which is
2X. Under MaxRequest Queue the GPU and optimal say 256, but chipset and OS
say 32. Is this normal or can everything be set somehow to the optimal
settings. Thanks.

coolbits vs gainward overclocking by
OZMAN
I have a gainward 5600xt. I see that most people recommend coolbits for
overclocking. Is that the same type of program that gainward includes with
it's drivers?

Cooler for XFX 7950GT AGP by
Rainer
Hi,
Does anyone know which cooler will fit to my XFX 7950GT AGP card? I want to
replace the original loud and inefficient cooler by a better one. I already
found out I cannot use the Zalman VF900Cu.
Please note the completely different layout of 7950 PCI-E and AGP cards?
Thanks, Rainer

Cooler recommendations for 8800 GTS? by
Don Burnette
I recently installed the BFG 8800 GTS 640 mb card.
I am having some airflow issues in my case.
I took the side panel off, and laid a case fan on the back of the card,
tilted down to where it is blowing directly across the back of the card,
toward the rear of the case. It will now successfully...

what is a decent cooling solution for an MSI Ti4200VTD8X-128 video card? The
stock one is starting to chew through it's housing and the noise is driving
me nuts.

Cooling - Coolermaster Aquagate R120/80?? by
Dragoncarer
I'm thinking of getting some form of cooling.
The Coolermaster Aquagate R120/R80 looks pretty nifty - so far I've only
read good things about it on the net.
Any comments? Preferably in that price range, too.
And regarding the the differences between R120/R80 - am I correct in that
they refer to...

cooling 8800 GT OC .. some good, some bad .. by
johns
Attempted to replace the stock cooler with a Zalman
VF900-cu. Problem is the heat sinks will not stick no
matter how much cleaning is done. They just fall off
after about 10 minutes. Tried alchohol, flux remover,
and a LOT of Q-tips. No go. Maybe there is a better
sticky tape somewhere...

Cooling a 8800GTX using Swiftech MCW60 by
Petter Hære
Hi!
I own an ASUS GF8800 GTX and I want to watercool it. I got a Zalman
Reserator 2 waiting. It has been some difficulties finding a waterblock in
stores where I live (Norway).
I was thinking of the AquaComputer waterblock, but they can't deliver for a
long time. I have settled on the Swiftech...

Cooling a MX440SE by
Bolooser11
Good evening,
I have an old 440MX SE and the fan was making so much noise that I
took it off. The card was not underwarranty anymore anyway.
Now I would like to put this card in a new BH6 box, not planning on
overclocking anything.
I got a heatsink (with no fan) on a dead BH6 and managed to make it...

Cooling fans problems by
JC
hi
I have this Asylum FX5900 (NU) , it seems to be working, but I noticed that now when I
start playing my game, UT2k3, the cooling fans will stop working!! This is recent
behavior, the drivers are 53.03 and speeds are stock! OS is WinXP Pro.
Any idea what could be causing this and how to fix it...

Cooling replacement for 6600GT AGP by
Larry Roberts
Found this today. Seems to be the only cooling solution
designd for the 6200/6600/600GT AGP with HSI chip on the market. It's
designed to make contact with the GPU, and the memory chips, and comes
with an HSI heatsink as well. Of course, because it's the only one
being made, it's...

Cooling the brave new world by
Jonathan Keith
Hello all,
just a quick question - I'm looking forward to building a new PC soon,
along the lines of FX-55, nForce4, 2x6800 ultra SLI.
My only concern is noise - cooling is in all likelihood going to be a
significant issue, and I do want to be able to hear my soundcard's
output without having to...
